Hi I've got a 1995 f250 7.3 manual trans with a check engine light on and I want to buy a scanner instead of paying a shop to scan it. I found this scanner and owner of the tool said that it will work for scanning my truck with what is already provided but from what I've seen, I need the ford cartridge. The kit comes with both OBD1 and OBD2 adaptors. Could someone clarify if this will work or if I need to buy any other adaptor or cartridges. Thanks

Warning, Some OLD PCM's have to be flashed before you can pull codes

I just bought the aeroforce interceptor for my 2001 but it will work on all 94.5-2003 7.3's. it's $250 for one or $400 for 2. It can read and clear codes, injector buzz tests, cylinder contribution, and much much more. Well worth the price. I have seen it in action and my buddy used his on my 97 F250 a few months ago.

I was wondering, what devices should I look for used. I don't know anything about phones and have no idea what im looking for. I would like to get a cheap used phone to use the app to scan my truck. The only thing I would need the phone for is just to scan the truck. Thanks
