rear main seal replacement

Whats involved in replaceing the rear main seal on my 89 bronco 351w .? leaking pretty good now ..

Depends on tranny model some times is faster remove tranny to replace rear seal.

rear main seal replacement

first off give the engine a good wash with some degreaser, most the time people think its the rear main seal but its allways the valve covers, check the covers and the oil pan seal first. otherwise you have to pull the transmission.
