Suspension upgrade
Hi all, making plans this summer to fix/upgrade the suspension on my '02 Ex with the 7.3 diesel. Most likely going to do the V/B swap that everyone talks about but wanted to see if anyone else had other things they'd done? My truck is a daily driver that pulls a 4k lb camper most weekends in the Spring-Fall seasons. I'm not looking to lift or put monster tires underneath either, just want to get a good suspension underneath that is comfortable and doesn't sag with the trailer, something that will last for many years to come.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions, happy trucking!

V/B swap is a good idea. Anytime you want to get some height you have to sacrafice the ride. unless a leveling kit and blocks will do, springs needed to lift a truck are longer and stiffer to maintain that height hence stiff ride. There is no shock in the world that will help, they are not meant too. The spring determine the ride so becareful of some claims you might see, for towing I recommend firestone air bags. Good luck

A good read if you really want to upgrade your suspension.
