Problem is no horn and flashing airbag warning light. Checked the clockspring under the steering wheel (thanks to this forum, very much) and, surprise-surprise, it is open, no continuity. Went to two dealers in the area and neither has one in stock and both want $92. Does anyone know if there is an after market supplier for these parts, or am I stuck with a special order from Ford???
Have you tried any of the parts yards in your area? You can probably pull one yourself for a lot less. Or the yard can find the spring online for you. Break out the phone book and make some calls.
