I have a 1996 F350 crew cab with a 460. I'm looking to get an aftermarket cat back exhaust system and seeking input from people who have done this. So far, I've looked at Banks, Gibson and having my local performance shop install a custom 3" system using a Magnaflow muffler. Flowmaster is little more radical than I desire. I do a lot of towing and would like a little more power. What works best for this truck? Also, my local performance shop suggested to remove the baffles in the airbox and install a K&N filter. Banks offers there airbox mod and cat back system but it's kind of pricy. I was told that by doing the airbox mod and adding the Magnaflow muffler, I would get the same results as the Banks or any other package system and would spending a lot less $$. I live in AZ, so I'm not really concerned about stainless tubing. Any suggestions? Thanks for your input.
