Disconnected piece under Fuel Pump

Doing an engine rebuild on the 2.8L that I got in my 85' Bronco II. Finding a good amount of happy, and dissapointing surprises; pretty sure a previous owner did a rebuild as well, but judging by the run condition, they didnt do a very good job; hoping this rebuild will take

This connector underneath the Fuel Pump had broken off prior to pulling the engine. I can find it in my diagram. Any idea what it is/does/should connect to?
