Injectors???

I am toying around with the idea of getting my injectors rebuilt and upgraded to stage 1 - 160cc. My only concern is that I am going to college in the fall and not really looking to screw my mileage, I'm getting about 17 right now, will bigger injectors lower my fuel economy?

Only if you lower your right foot! The biggest factor in mileage is how aggressively you drive, so if you can restrain yourself, it won't hurt your mileage.

The other consideration is the expense of the supporting modifications. You'll need a chip of some sort at least and custom tunes to run the bigger injectors. Other supporting mods will be needed to take full advantage of the added fuel, but it depends what you want to do with the truck whether they're absolutely necessary or not.

I have a ts 6, cold air, 3" down pipe, 5" straight pipe, built "stage 1" transmission. Is there anything else I would have to change to go with bigger injector?.

Automatic transmission - triple disc torque converter and larger valve body according to PO. I have oil and tranny temp, oil pressure and boost gauges, going to put in an egt too. What is E-fuel?

Okay, I have shopped around for one of those but they are all freaking expensive, are there any "poor boy" pumps out there that would work. I found a carter that was pretty reasonable but I don't know if it would be any good.

You do not have to have e fuel. you can run the stock system. The e fuel is just another up grade we do.

Won't the larger injectors possibly outrun the stock fuel pump?

People run larger injectors with stock pump.
Its when you run WOT at like 3k RPM that you need to make sure pressure don't drop below 45 PSI
