My view question

on my 2018 250 Lariet, everytime i hook my trailer to it is switches from my view to the towing screen which is expected. The issue is once the trailer is disconnect it still goes to the the towing screen and every time i switch it back to my view screen on startups. Seems to do this about 7 or 8 times then it will go back to My view screen on startup. Is there a way I can default this?

I think someone posted you'll get this behavior if trailer was disconnected with ignition off.

Yep. Just select ‘no trailer attached’ in the menu, and it’ll stop doing that.

I traded in my 2015 F150 KR C/C FX4 for my 2017 F250 Lariat C/C FX4 and on my old truck I never had a problem with disconnecting my trailers and the screen would recognize it was disconnected . But on the F250 I have to go to trailer settings and hit no active trailer. Its a pain in the butt. Wonder why my older truck knew and this one doesn't . Can something be changed in forscan? Or is this something I have to live with. I do disconnect the trailer with the engine off as I was told this won't hurt the computer on the truck and the same with hooking it up.
