just found this great forum, so had to join directly. I'm Chris from Germany, driving a 53' F100, actually more a kind of rat ro, but that will change over time.
Welcome to the forum and we hope you enjoy your time here. We have a great group to answer questions and help with problems. We look forwards to your questions and input.
to get also some more informations, the 53 Truck has an 290FE V8 Engine, actually on my way to find out which rear axle and transmission is in (thought it may be an C4 or C6, but is only a two gear automatic).. but I will find out. It has been driven sonce 4 years in Germany before, but never got it inspected correctly to drive with such engine (german stupid laws).
If I see your rebuilds and more to say "transformations", but nearly nothing like this is realy allowed here..
hopefully no one missed me to hard :-) Life changed a bit, so now single dad and my son, the old house and the Caddy needed their time.. but now back in here.. and already started to strip down my 53. Was not happy with the 390FE setup and had luck to find an 329 to convert it back.. so.. it will be resotred completly..
