Hub Cap Fell Off

Driving home from the dealer found one hubcap loose. These caps are hard to seat. Could be a bear to get off if you catch a flat. Finally a tech at the dealer had the magic touch.

Agreed !!

My truck with the chrome wheels does not look good without the hubs.

I took mine off for a thourough wheel cleaning and found they are very tricky to get on and off. Once they are locked in properly it would be very hard to fall off. After putting them back on I would run my figures around between the wheel and hub, and if I found more of a gap in 1 area I would hit that area again with the side of my fist.

I used to take the hubs off my 2006 F150 before taking it in for a tire rotation, and will doing that again with this truck. I don’t want those hubs bouncing around on a garage floor,
