What are these two things?
Hey guys, new to explorers. Have two questions. What is the square box behind the rear view mirro? Also what' the little bubble thing in the middle of the dash? Thanks for the input!

On the 2006 the box behind the rear view mirror is most likely the box for the rain-sensing wipers. I think that area also contains the light sensor for the automatic headlights.
The little bubble thing on top of the dash at the base of the windshield is the sunload sensor for the automatic climate control.
