Howdy.
I've lurked a little here, but am new to FTE as a member. I am, however, not new to Fords.
In my family, if you don't drive a Ford it's entirely possible that you might be disowned. At the very least, there would be no offer of a helping hand when the Chevy breaks down. Only derision and mean-spirited chuckling at your GM-induced misfortune.
I got my first Ford when I learned to drive. It was my grandfather's metallic-pea '77 LTD Brougham.
Then I really moved up and scored a '66 Mustang ("The Blue Goose")
Then my teen-crush, a pretty blue '67 F-100 short-bed ("Nadine")
Then a '65 Fairlane sedan, a '67 Falcon coupe (into which a buddy and I stuffed a 460...), a '69 Galaxie coupe 390, a 72 F-250 Camper Special, a '69 F-100 long-bed style side, a '68 F-250 long-bed step side, an '85 Mustang GT (last of the carbureted Mustangs), a '77 LTD sedan--originally purchased by the police chief of Stafford, Texas, so it had all the cop-appointments, a shoebox flathead roller that never materialized, a Mazda RX-7 that my buddy and I (the same one from above) dropped a 302 into (does that count?), an '84 Lincoln Town Car, a '98 F-150, an Escort ZX2 (I don't know why), an '04 F-150, an '86 F-250 4x4 6.9 IDI...
And currently, the "Bluesmobile", an '06 P-71 Crown Vic which is my daily driver, and my very latest acquisition, a black '91 F-350 crew cab dually w/ a 460 that has a bad rod bearing.
I may have left some out.
Anyway, that's my story as it relates to Ford Motor Cars.
Thanks for reading, if you did.
Say....anyone got a good EFI 460 for sale??
Craig
