Hello,
I'm posting an introduction.. I've owned Ford trucks since I'm 16...(41 now) paid 1500 bucks for a short bed (styleside) 1966 F100 with a 352 and 3 on the tree.....I wish I still had that truck... but I don't. I flipped it on the coast highway being a jerk. Oh, I dug up a new cab (we landed on our wheels and drove off) and got it back on the road...frame was not bent..but my heart wasn't in it. Sold it to a friend from Mexico for 500 bucks (he made payments!) He eventually decked it out in ****, velour and dingleberries...no lie...he loved Fords too and put his Hispanic stamp on it...he was stylin' harsh and I had no complaints. I had some deep well rims on the back from a 49 F1...
Since then, in order I've owned ...a 1968 F250, a 1974 F250 4x4 traded both those for a new 1986 F250 (4spd + 6.9 litre diesel), another 1966 F100 Longbox, a 1963 Shortbox Unibody(I6 w/3spd), I inherited my Aunt's 1970 F250 in 1998 (360 with 3 spd) which I still have.....and now I drive a 1966 F250 Custom Cab, Camper Special creampuff survivor (352 w/4spd + 373 rear end) and we keep a beater 1966 F250 (352/390 heads w/2spd auto) on hand as a garbage scow.
I've cruised this site from time to time and have always found it helpful andsomewhat nurturing to my need for FE Power.
Long may they run, although these changes will come.
TH1567 is driving
66 F250 (2) (most stylish F Series ever)
70 F250 (from my cold dead hands)
95 Aspire (need that 35+ mpg these days)
02 Taurus Wagon (plastic banana jelly bean cruiser)
