what i have is a 96 f150 4x4 reg cab short box 351 e4od obd2 maf with 3.55s. truck is solid however engines a lil sick.. ive been accumulating parts to freshen it up some day however ive been debating on cam heads and pistons.. what i have so far is the oem lightning headers, gt40 3bar heads, explorer upper with throttle body and maf.,with lightning type cast iron lower intake off a boat. debating now on heads..are trick flows really that much better? which ones? i was leaning towards an e303 cam however ive read there are plenty better..through conanski post. pending on head choice gt40 vs. trick flows... which pistons? ive gota set of nib. .30 over flat tops from a buddy..id like to run some decent compression..thought id bounce it off you folks since i was gunna keep it stock..however now i kinda wanna mild stomper.. thank you in advance..been searching prior post..still havnt made heads or tails of what to do..

 

What power level are you looking for? Is this a daily driver or weekend warrior? How are you going to tune it?

 

I've been reading up on the Moates quarter horse and Tweecer..what ever you folks think is best..I wanna be able to eliminate Egr and upgrade injectors..to what yet Idk..but as far as power and driveability, I'd like to go far as I can on premium gas and run a stock stall converter.if possible. Thank you for asking...I think anywhere around 350hp would be great..anything after that if any would be a bonus. Truck will be more a weekend warrior (6 pack truck) too many chevy buddies round here..
