I was wondering if a trans out of a 96 ford explorer 5.0 would be a direct fit on my 1998 4.2 f 150 pick-up? I am a new member here and have read some helpful advise that you guys have given to others. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
thinking that it should bolt up....BUT....the harness and connections and sensors,as well as the ECM that controls the trans might be done way differently.
