Haven’t used MC oil since the factory fill. I did a few cycles with Mobil 1 and Schaeffer 5W-30. Both worked fine, but I’m switching to Castrol Magnatec next fill.
Mobil 1 Full Synthetic since first change. I also change @5k intervals. Some would argue that it is a waste of good oil life. Even though the 2nd gen EB with the multiport FI is supposed to help eliminate the sludge factor, I consider it cheap insurance. Especially since I tow a travel trailer regularly.

I switched to Amsoil full synthetic oil several years ago but recently switched back to Motorcraft oil because it is a waste of money As little as I drive.
Been using Motorcraft here. Will switch to a full synthetic once Warranty is up.
Why aren't you using fully synthetic now and what does that have to do with the warranty? Not being a smart ***, just wondering, I've been using Pennzoil Platinum Ultra since my first oil change, I wasn't aware of anything negative with the fully synthetic.

Nothing Negative with Synthetic, just letting the dealer do the changes for record keeping.
