I've had 6 red trucks of different years and era's and 3 red cars (no tickets in any of the by the way) and the Ford Race Red is the most striking by far. Our 2004 was more of a blue/red where the 18 may have more orange. I know it looks better than any of the Ferrari, Porsche or Corvette reds I've had done.
I just cannot do red. Or any bright colors for that matter. I prefer dark colors so I guess it's a good thing I don't try to keep them looking showroom new. Don't get me wrong, I keep them clean and stuff but I don't detail either my truck or the bike. I drive my truck and ride my bike. They aren't showroom queens.

I've had a lot of different colors on cars and trucks. The white Edge I have now is not too bad at showing dirt. The magnetic on the f150 isn't too bad.
I was in my 40s when an Optometrist said to me do you realize you are partially colour blind. I told her that I see colours, she said yes but they are not always the right colours! Explains a few of the "discussions" my wife and I have had over the years about decorating!

The whole notion of what color blindness is is quite confusing. For one thing, not all forms of color blindness are the same. I do see all the colors (as near as I can tell). However, the relative intensity is different than someone with "normal" color vision. For example, at a traffic light, the red is very dark, the yellow is medium intensity, and the green is so bright that it appears almost white. Drives my significant other batty because she is a major color person. She's always pointing out some really bright color thing, and I'm always "yawn".
MY buddy has a White Gold F150 and he says it stays looking nice even when it's dirty. My wife and I both have Sterling Grey trucks and they stay looking pretty good when lightly dirty(salt is a different story though), I believe Magnetic is similar to Sterling Grey. Lead foot looks like it would be easy to keep clean but it's not available on all models.
I've had White, blue, green, and black trucks in the past and none of these are easy to keep clean. White is almost as bad as black, light road dust doesn't show up but if their is moisture involved it looks bad.
Both my parents have the dark grey/Magnetic colored cars (Dad F-250, Mom 4Runner), and both of them are able to go weeks without "looking" dirty. Although here in SoCal, we don't have a lot of dirt roads, or salted roads, however during our weekends out in the desert with the dust and dirt, they both look good heading into the week....not super dirty, but just enough to brag to a coworker about your fun weekend out dirt biking. My Excursion is black/tan, and is a PITA to keep lookin sharp, but when she's detailed it's clean
