The pedal assembly support on my 1983 is cracked through on the passenger side. It creaks and clunks when the clutch is used, and upon further inspection, I saw that the entire support flexes a lot as you push the clutch in.
I am looking to either repair or replace this part.
My question is, does anyone here have any experience with welding or otherwise repairing this part?
If repairing is not feasible, then I will pull a "new" one from a junkyard. Is there any information on year-to-year differences here? Can I use one from an '87-91?
