1959 F100 262 Throttle linkage issue

My 59 has a 262 I6 from a '64 B600 Bus, and the throttle linkage has been hacked. Anyone selling a complete linkage or know if where I can find one?

The only 262 I-6 pic of carb linkage is for a C550/600 (C series Tilt Cab) which may or may not be similar to a B or F series (see at right center outer in pic below).

I'd look for a 1957/64 F100/600 with a 223 I-6 .. I would assume the linkage will be very similar to a 262.

Optional 262: 1961/64 B/F600 & C550/600 // 1963/64 F100/250.

The standard equipment 223 is faaar more common and was also installed in 1954/64 full sized passenger cars.

Click on pic twice to enlarge it, then use the cursor to move it around.

Because it originally had a 223, I've also been looking for a 223 linkage and STILL can' find the correct one. I' kinda at my wits end as I've been looking for almost a year. Thanks for the picture!

Where have you looked besides NM?

Contact Mike at Big M Automotive in Williams CA (530-473-2225 x 271) to see if he has anything.

Another place to try: Flashback F100's in Reidsville NC (336-421-3979).

Lokar sells universal cables, maybe you could use one of theirs.
