I have an AC Delco engine stand that I thought would be ok to handle my engine, but at this angle, I'm worried about taking it completely off the hoist. Am I doing something wrong here or is this stand just not gonna cut it for the engine?
Any suggestions on the best way to stabilize this joker to service it with new gaskets would be much appreciated.
I had a 460 on my cheap harbor freight engine stand and it never sagged that bad....however when I put a 6.9 idi diesel on there it sagged like that...a 300 shouldn't be heavy enough to sag that bad..
I could get one of the top bolt holes to work, but not both. The bars on the engine stand are long enough that I can't get them both aligned to the top bolt holes. So I could take one on the right and align it to the bolt hole on the left. But can't do both.
I don't mean to restart the oil filter wars, but I watched a Youtube video where the guy cut apart a Fram and a Wix filter just to show how they are made. After seeing that I'll never use a Fram filter.

I've always stuck with motorcraft oil filters for my ford vehicles..I haven't bought a Fram oil filter in over 15 years..
