Replacing Turbo

Turbo is out. Question is which one to go with. Stock engine, no exhaust upgrades, 180K miles.
Having mine rebuilt not an option. Need to purchase new or rebuilt for quick install. Head job eventually, maybe exhaust.

Can't give an informed decision until we know what engine you have. Rec's for a 7.3 won't work for a 6.0 and vice versa.

You'll laugh, but I had typed out "38R" as my response because I was just in a 7.3L thread giving he same advice, when I reaized you didn't specify which engine you have.

Powermax turbo is the go-to drop in replacement the 6.0 guys go to. Just be careful if you have an '03 or early '04. I hear the Powermax is hit and miss for some guys with those year trucks.

Thanks, Stewart.
Ask this in the 6.0 forum.

Twitch could never get his Powermax to work with his 6.0.
