Hi all. I have a rattle or predetonation ping at high rpm under load. Ford did the test on this and this is what it looks like. They said van is not worth the money to fix with this issue. 2011 Ford e350 v10. Noise seems to go away with higher octane. They said cylinders 10 2 abd 9 are misfiring. And 6 5 7 are close. The compression test came back with 0% for all cylinders.
First things first - did you clean the MAF and change the fuel filter yet? Under high load would indicate a possible loss of fuel flow making it lean out.
When were the plugs last done? Did you remove the COP on Cylinder #10 and see if the boot is dirty?
Yes. New MAF and new in tank fuel pump. There is no external fuel filter. Plugs were done 5k miles ago. The dealership did them. I have not checked the boots.
I was going off of this. I had a relative compression of 0% between all cylinders. If it was a head gasket would that not be off for at least a few cylinders?
