Need to figure out shocks for rear end (Sterling 10.25), using custom mounts...
Wondering what is typical "up travel" on a street driven truck to figure realistic extension? "Back in the day" I did a lot of rock crawling, and so I know in that arena you have to figure out max droop and compression, but this truck is never gonna have one wheel on a boulder and the other in a hole.
Static measurement looks to be 14", and I've got just about 4" before axle meets bumpstop. So I'm thinking 10" compressed, but how much extended?
If you jack up one side of the truck by the frame, so the axle droops, with no shocks on it, you'll have your worst case. If your springs are stock, I'd be surprised if they ever compress more than an inch.
