Question on late model engine swap

I'm planning out a late model crate engine swap in my truck. Which means this '96 Explorer GT40 equipped 302 long block would be reusing most of the parts from my '82 302.

Question is on fuel though for this post. I'm looking at reusing my stock manifold and stock carb, its a 351 CFM 2V ford carb. Same carb found on my 351W in my '78 Mercury. So I want to say that the carb is big enough for use on a 302 from a '96 Explorer with the GT40 heads. Especially considering the head specs I found show they are 145cc intake runner with a 63 - 66 cc chamber and a 1.85"/1.54" valves.

But I wanted to ask those on here that might know better on how well of a match would it be?

Its a stock reman engine and I will be reusing the stock components from my truck such as exhaust manifolds. So there wont be any hot rod parts in her unless the cam is not a roller explorer cam that everyone has told me to go with. I might consider doing a 1.7:1 rocker upgrade like I was told to do to build the most bottom end torque.

None the less I am trying to make a list of parts I will need to buy and need to know if my stock carb and intake would work perfect on this setup with no problems.
