Hey guys I have a question and need some advice. I have a 2014 f 350 with a 4" lift, i just purchased a camper and picking it up on Tuesday. we installed the tie downs today and also installing air bags. the bolt that holds the jounce bumper broke off when we were taking it off so it is garbage now which isnt a problem as it isnt required with the airbag kit. when we got to the point of installing the airbag brackets we discovered we need a spacer because of the 4" lift, no problem but they have to be ordered. My question is do you think it would be ok to pick up the camper and drive 4 hours home with out the bumper on the one side? I dont want to buy another bumper as i cant wait for it to come in and it will be thrown away again anyway. do you think the bumper actually hits every so often? i cant see any marks that would show that they have hit any other time.
Thanks for the help I certainly dont want to wreck anything but I have to get the camper off the lot
Thank you that is a good idea! Wish I would have known, getting zero service from Firestone, I think we are going to fab something up even though Firestone said they would void the warranty
