I am new to the Super duty trucks. I noticed that the rear shocks on my 03 F350 are different and sit on the axle assembly in different location. Is this normal.
No that is not normal! They are two differnt shocks for starters, one on left is a stock type shock like monroe magnum, one on right is a aftermarket type shock like rancho or sky jacker.
left lower shock mount is off a ford excursion, one on right is factory super duty lower mount.
try craigslist or local salavge yard for the correct lower mount, and go buy new matching shocks
and ford didnt put stagered shocks (one in the front of the rear axle opposite side behind axle) till 2011 model year. Ever ford heavy duty and super duty has both shocks in front of the axle and 99 to 2010 behind axle
So yes, besides the mixed shocks, the left mount on yours does not look correct either.
ETA: Also noted your parking brake cable is routed under the hydraulic line, mine goes over it. I only got the truck some months ago, so can not state with certainty mine is as-built by Ford. I think you need to do more inspection of your rig.
