I currently HAVE the heated wheel - although I installed my new raptor wheel last night & the only thing NOT working is the heated wheel. I wasnt sure if i needed something extra harness wise, or if I need to track down why the heat element is not working. All other functions on my new wheel work (sans paddles - Yeah new PnP Harness!).

heated option only works on trucks that didnt come with this option..... with a custom harness and a heated steering wheel module. You will then need FORScan or Ford IDS to make the program changes in the IPC and the BCM.

I don't have the heated wheel right now. I have an XLT with the base steering wheel - non leather. Didn't realize it needed a separate module as well as a harness. SO you do make the harness though? Do you know the part number for the heater module? Personally, the heated wheel is not critical for me, just figured I might do it if it was a simple affair. If not, I am good with just getting the nicer raptor wheel and enable the paddles.

I dont currently make one for the SD as it may be slightly different from that of the F150, but its def. doable. It's a commitment because the required connectors to build it are a lil on the expensive side... and the heated control module is about $60-80 (harness is about $200). Imho unless you just really want it enabled and will use it... the expense makes this a non necessity type upgrade. Having funtional paddle shifters will keep you smiling for some time.

lol.... ok. Hold on to it for a bit. As soon as parts arrive I will share pics. Working on specific "How to" instructions now..... though they really aren't needed.

Quick Update!

Just wanted to share a pic of what the PnP SD Raptor paddle shifter harness will look like! It is missing (1) connector in this pic that is part of the parts order I am waiting for, but other that that.....it is a full PnP harness
...no cutting, splicing or soldering of any kind!

F450 Pickup

Thank you all for the good info. Until now, my last new vehicle purchase was a 2000 Excursion. Ford got me again with the addition of a single cab F450 pickup in '19. The single cab is only offered in XL and XLT so this wheel upgrade is welcomed.
Thank you BGG for the leg work. Please reach out to me at 9seven9 997-3112. Would like to spend some $ with you.

The truck is still on order but I hope to have the first single cab F450 pickup with kelderman and Raptor wheel and paddles.

Played with oldschool photoshop (scissors) to see how the 2 door will look with the kit.
