I’m sorry bro but I have to say something. It is in no way any offence towards you but it cracks me up how these companies selling gm colums advertise them as ford. I really hope everyone knows what they are buying.
Im not knocking the purchase of a gm column, I just don’t agree with companies selling one thing and saying it’s something else.
Again mctooo I’m sorry for hi jacking your thread!!! This is in no way a stab at you.

No offence taken When I bought my column it said gm style Not made for any one vehicle just generic. I have changed the location of the column , centered on dash and changed angle it comes in cab. I had no preference on what brand column I bought. I have found used columns be GM. Ford, or Dodge Most people want as much money for them as you can buy a new one for Add to it any new parts modifying it to fit It's not cost effective
Sorry, I forgot to mention that it wasn’t your column it was the one in the link from someone else’s post on this thread and in no way am I condemning anyone from buying what they want or doing what they want. What I’m trying to say is that a lot of people don’t know the difference and someone that may be a purist could buy a one of these gm style columns thinking it’s a Ford style column because it’s laying on a Ford banner.
Frame back from powder coat Motor in place Back coming together Inside of cab painted Starting to go back together
It has been awhile sense I've worked on the truck. Too many other projects. Hope to have it up and running for summer.
Looks good! And looks fun! Awesome job on that tank too. Cant wait to see where the filler comes out. I've been trying to think up alternates to the bed location
I have a couple of ideas on fuel fill location. It will not be in the bed. I will be using this truck to haul stuff in and don't want to unload to put gas in. I will need to set bed on and route plumbing for tank That will give me the location Also it will be hidden.

Looking forward to see how the filler comes out. I'm also planning on relocating the tank but don't like the filler in the bed.
