Arrow Chevy attitude....

Anybody else notice that Chebbie drivers seem to have a certain attitude? They seem to be very aggressive and confrontational drivers. I don't know if it's because I'm in a Ford or what, but it always seems like they're looking for trouble.

I also see more Chebbies pulling dumb driving stunts (jetting out in front of traffic, zipping through yellow/red lights, etc.) than any other vehicle.

Anybody else notice this?

it has nothing to do with what brand you drive, its a mental thing. personally i drive fast and "dangerous" no matter what im driving, my 2wd pickup, my lifted suburban, my dad's expedition, our oldsmobile.... it makes no difference.

oh and the SS impala, jus get outta the way!

Then you're saying that it's not the car that makes somebody drive like an idiot, it's just that the idiots generally prefer Chevys?

My new favorite hobby is setting the cruise for the exact speed limit whenever somebody rides my bumper. The idiots usually go around, flip the bird, zip off at 90MPH, and get roped by the State Troopers that are out there EVERY morning.

It's like clockwork. And then I beep the horn on the way by.

The feeling of satisfaction can't be put into words.

kinda like how i feel after ive pushed my speedometer further than last time. it stops at 85mph and ive had it wrapped around to 35mph, i figure i was goin about 120-125mph

like i said my driving style is dangerous but when i need to i can drive just as safe and calmy as anyone else on the road, i just dont have any fun doing that.

I've noticed it too. I believe it's the whole Ford/Chevy thing. Personally, I give the attitude to rattlin' Dodge owners. I love the way they get smaller and smaller in the rear-veiw! I hate to admit it here, but I've got nothing against Chevy trucks. I've owned all 3, and while Ford is my pick, I can't say that I had any real complaints with my Chevys. My Dodge, on the other hand, was a different story. I hated it. No power, poor handling, and a new noise every week. I kept it 6 months.

Speaking of dumb driving stunts, I see most of this from Mustang drivers (SORRY). I can't blame them tho, I tend to drive stupid in speedy cars too!

I wouldn't brag about driving like you do. Once you admit that you are knowingly driving dangerously, then you are telling us you are willing to endanger others on the road and not have any second thoughts. One of these days you WILL end up killing some one. Better hope it isn't my wife or daughter.

Rdbaron03, come driving like that and hit me, better hope I can't get up. There is NO reason to drive like an idiot. I'll follow you to talk to you or even call the cops if I feel the need.

No one around here really likes people that drive like you do.

I agree with Bob Ayers. There about as sharp as a bowling ball! I've notice that Chevrolet drivers drive more aggressive because there always looking over there shoulder in fear of being looked at, gee I wonder why? They tend to believe that they are invisable except when the State Patrol has them on the side of the road filling out that reckless driving ticket.

Checking their blind spot maybe? Like as in safety?

Usually it is the ricers that try these stunts, and no, its not the brand, but the driver. (Well....Maybe with ricers its the brand...

I think that it's because they have seen that #3 drive like that on Sundays and now they think they can do it also. Hmmm? How about that #3 now.

RdBaron03,
Continue driving like that, you're gonna kill someone or wind up in Jail. One or the other. Driving like everyone else is no fun? What do you think? You think you own the road? We're all annoying because we're there sharing your road with you? Grow up! You really like to drive that fast... then drive on a racetrack, not the roads.

RdBaron03-

Not to flame you, but you need to work in an ER for a little while. It can be a real eye opener.
