harmonic humming sound

harmonic humming sound

Can anyone guide me where to go for this noise before i get into it. it kicks in around 60kms hr and speeds up as the vehicle does, kinda hums on and of, sounds like a hub bearing but its not constant. was thinking carrier bearing or u joints

I'm thinking the same (add wheel bearings to the list)... If linked to vehicle speed.

Is it more based on vehicle speed or engine RPMs (then maybe belts or idlers or an accessory).
