We truly appreciate people like you Steve. The only hard part of running a business really, is assembling the right team. I truly like and care for everyone of them. We have lots of fun and laughs at work as well. And as we are not open to the public, they are all free to not be politically correct at work. If those uptight little ****heads ever walked in here, they would be in tears in seconds.

 

I know what you mean Ian. For me I have to have trust in the officers I dispatch as well as the people I work within the dispatch center. Sometimes we deal with calls that can be rather serious in nature where one of might have to stay on the phone while another person dispatches the call we are still on. it takes alot of trust to be able to do that.

 

I am pretty much an instigator to getting the others to laugh.. got a quick mind that is sometimes off color. I blame it on being in the Air Force..

I have to have trust in my team, from Fuelers, to maintenance and pilots. One slight mistake and a helicopter crashes.

 

To me that is a huge asset when I hear my team laughing.

 

My mind is warped alot because I grew up around auto shops, the military, and the fire service. it went dark when I started working at teh cemetery and then stayed dark once I started working in public safety. I dont let it out alot.

We`re finally out from under that Arctic air, still a bit on the cold side here.

 

Good to hear you might be close to spring Morris..

 

Unfortunately spring is still a wk or so from happening here Steve, a very late spring this yr. which is farmers and green houses worst nightmare.

 

Been a weird weather day here.
If you don't like the weather, go sit down for 5 minutes while it changes.
Predicted high was 20 today, but its still only 18, so doubt we will reach that.
Raining right now.

 

Some snow is in our forecast for Wed, sounds like it`ll be a long time before we ever get 18°C here.
