It is only 43°F right now with a high of 58, so they say. I don't care for a cold rain either especially if I have to spend a few hours soak and wet at work..

I am with you there Steve.
A good rain on a hot day almost feels good. But then it depends on the road, deeply grooved highways hold water in deep pools, and newer asphalt has oils that come out in the hot days, add water to that oily surface and its wildly slippery on a motorcycle lol

Ours are always slippery to.
But new asphalt under say 3 years old is twice as bad I have found. I think as I get older, my mind is more adverse to being okay sliding on a bike. If I get a car or pickup loose and drift it, its fun. But when my motorcycle is sliding nowadays I feel my butt pucker.

I hear you there Steve.
Almost find the more I slow down the worse they feel. So I stopped slowing down for them.

One passenger was in tears, sure she was going to die, and so I landed, and waited for the worst of it to stop.

I have been in rain storms like that before Ian. Had to stop the truck a couple of times on the side of the road because you could not see the front of the truck let alone any traffic.

And as bad as it is for the driver or pilot, it is 20 times as bad for the passengers.

You need to get your boss to let you have a day off Ian!!!

Nothing going on here...went out to brekkie with my gang this morning...bunch of slacking ever since. I even managed to get in a nice nap this afternoon...now...waiting for the oven to tell me supper is ready.

Hope your flight goes well...bring her back safely.
