Hello:
Well, I am back with another question that I should probably be embarrassed to ask. But better to ask than to force something and break something old and brittle.
The license plate lights seem to fit into their little 'fixtures" by pressing them in, but I am not sure. There are four little sections that appear to need pressing in the four indentations on the fixtures. Mine are hard to go in and I am wary of forcing them and breaking some brittle old part.
Am I correct in assuming they simply are to be pressed in? Should I try pressing with a screw driver tip, or something to wedge them into place?
The tabs on the socket coincide with the four notches on the fixture. Align them, then push in and then rotate the socket to lock in the socket into the fixture for the seal.
