Weird radio malfunction?

Weird radio malfunction?
The other night the stock radio in our 96 went goofy. All the LEDs lit up at once. None of the buttons would work and all the lights stayed on even when we turned off the truck and pulled the fuse. We pulled out the radio, unhooked everything, and plugged it back in an hour later, working fine now (so far). Anyone else have this happen? I checked the wires, there don't seem to be any bares or cracks, no melted spots.
Any ideas?

well may be you need an exsorsis! but any way your radio has two power suplies, one turns power on with the key switch, then you have another power wire that stays hot all the time, it's what retains the radios memory. I know this dont explain your problem, but may explain why it didn't go off when you pull the one fuse. Good Luck! DW
