My brother has a 82 Bronco
I was wondering if the door hinges interchange.
They look the same to me
The drivers side are worn out, and the passenger side is fine.
I know where a 82 is at in the junkyard and I can get the hinges pretty cheap... I was going to get the passengers side as they usually wear out less often than the drivers side.
So do they interchange?
Thanks for the help
Parts house wants to much.
I think they said 65 buck a hinge.
Thats crazy.
The Bronco in the junkyard has new or almost new hinges.
So do they interchange or not?
I can get the full door for 50 bucks
Dazman the pin nor the hinge actullay do not wear out there are so crap little brass bushing that go between the hinge and pin that got worn an get mashed to hell and back. Pick up parts at AZ or NAPA for around 15$ take a small grinder with a cut off wheel and cut the pin. Have someone hold up on the door drive the old pin out with a large screwdriver . Put the new bushing in drive the pin put the lock clip on an wala new door action.
Ok... Does anyone know if they interchange or not?
Thats what I asked in the first post.... no reply. lol
I dont care what wears out, Im replacing them all, as my hinge is a POS and needs replacing..
Its been hyperextended also
