I don't think my little tired out 223 would even turn those over! Huge rubber!

G-Force...you gave me a great idea as I too am putting in tilt column... (needed to get tank out of cab first to finish off interior)....
love this... much easier than trying to deal with that mal-fitting two piece rotter and rusted dust blower at the bottom of my column... i can see the road go by as I drive. LOL
thanks

So I didn’t like the mounting brackets on my radiator and I wanted to move it forward a bit for more clearance so I cut off the brackets, made some new ones and welded them on.

I recently purchased a tig welder so it’s a good time to brush up on my aluminum welding.

Thanks Walston! I know they’re not the prettiest but I know they’ll hold.
Tig welding is definitely something that takes time to get good at.
much respect for all the dime stackers!!! Hopefully I get there sooner than later.

Those welds are not that bad. TIG is much more of an art form than MIG. Looks like they will work just fine!

Finally fit the rad today but it was kind of a pain in the buttocks! Realized the rad isn’t square and neither is the rad support so I had to do some trimming to make it all look square. Also had to modify the fan shroud a bit but that wasn’t bad.

the shroud still has the protective wrap. In case you were wondering lol

Did you fabricate the shroud yourself or did you find one already made? It looks good. What is the diameter and make of the fan? I am probably going to have do something like this for the Farm Truck.

The fan and shroud are champion. The shroud comes with the hole cut out for a 16” fan. The fan I’m running is a 16” Spal.

So I thought I’d sort out my rad hoses out and figured I would cut the thermostat housing hose connection or and weld a new pipe in the direction of the rad so I could use a 45 degree silicone rad hose.
