I'm debating on buying bushwacker flares for my 18 lariat crew....most likely the extend a flare ones. Just looking for pics of your trucks with these installed so I can decide....thanks guys
When you install them make sure you take your time putting the weatherstripping on flares. Do it a few inches at a time and make sure the edge of the flare fits in the tiny grove in the weatherstripping. I just removed my flares and put 3M protective film under where the flares hit the truck. If you don’t they will rub throw the paint. Mine already started showing sings of wear after 5000 miles so I’m glad I took the time to do it. I used the 2 in protective film and cut it in half. When you apply it, you can stretch it to make the radius. The flares help keep a lot of dirt and mud off the side of my truck but my tire and rim combination sit inside my flares....barely. K
CO Wapiti, Do you have the Value Package on your XLT? Do you have the AMP steps installed, its kind of hard to tell. If you don't....how do you get in it? You must 7 feet tall!! Still love the look of your truck.

Sherpa, yes, I have the XLT value to avoid all of the nasty chrome they put on the premium package.I’m only 6’1 “ so I had to install the Amps. I love them but because I like to overkill everything, I’m bummed that they came out with the Amp extremes as they have two motors on each step. I actually like the profile of the regular amps better though. I’m pretty sure that the dealer that sold me these told me I could easily add an extra motor to these so I’ll be looking into that. Thanks on the compliment of the truck!
