Yup, Ford needs to step up and try to fix these trucks. They are safety hazard and a lawsuit just waiting to happen. As stated above, very disappointing.
Because your's is at a specific speed and repeatable I don't think its death wobble, that sounds more like tires. Ever tried swapping your tires front to back to see if it still happens?
Mine is not the death wobble, far from it. Its a vibration that occurs between 65-75 most of the time. The steering wheel shakes just like in that video, exactly like that when the vibration is present. Sometimes it disappears when at those speeds and going into a curve. Other times it will not be there at all, then reappear with no change in speed or pavement surface. I keep thinking its a tire issue as well, but have had the closest dealer (Bowditch Ford in Newport News, VA) balance the tires twice, the first of which was a road force balance and nothing changes. They refuse to take it out to the interstate and get it up to speed to try and replicate the symptom, basically they don't want to deal with it anymore and told me to go back to the purchasing dealer.
I took it to tread quarters and they balanced the tires, then took it out to the interstate and did not feel any vibrations. Of course I go out there after getting the truck and its the same thing, no changes, vibration still there.
My next attempt will be at a truck accessory shop that specializes in lifts, tires etc. They want to start from the beginning, will ride with me to replicate the symptom and then we will find a fix....we shall see...if they fix it, they will get big time accolades on this and other social media sites. Next Thursday is the day.

Might be drive shaft or torque converter too. Bummer man, hope you figure it out. That's gotta be frustrating.
Mine does this every day going home from work in the fast lane on the same section of concert road. After I get thru that 1/2 mile section and back to asphalt the truck drives nice and smooth. I just figured it was the road and maybe the front coils not being spec'ed correctly by Ford. I have been debating installing Carli coils but I haven't felt like spending the money and it not solving the problem.
Update: I had another alignment done due to the steering wheel being slightly off. Truck is perfect now. No more shake, no shimmy. Rides the best it ever has since the lift

Yessir. It's incredible how some will refuse to admit that Ford dropped the ball on this. When you're purchasing a new truck, (not to mention they're anywhere from $40k-$90k!), you expect it to operate like a normal vehicle. It's amazing that some people still blindly defend the truck, to the point they'll try and convince you that having to change shocks and alignment is somehow normal procedure for a brand new vehicle. Some even fell trap to that dealer that tried to convince the customer his truck wasn't designed to go over 65mph. People actually sided with the dealer, say things like "its a truck, not a sports car".
I can't figure it out either. I have been driving trucks for 50 years and the solid front axle trucks of the 70's and 80's drove better than these trucks. Hopefully Ford is working on a fix but i doubt they are, and the dealers are just tellling everyone that this is normal operation. As I said before, I like everything about my truck except for how it drives.
Just got back from the dealer. They road forced my tires again and 2 failed. They said whoever did it last time must’ve messed something up because they failed. Drove it home from 55-80 and the vibration in the steering wheel is completely gone. They didn’t charge me for the balance even though they weren’t factory tires. Standup job for my hometown dealer. Haven’t towed with it yet, but it was night and day different unloaded.
If anyone else still has this problem have the dealer inspect/repair/replace the steering shafts and/or steering shaft u-joint located in the column between the firewall and the steering gearbointermediate shaft and lower shaft). A coworker had this same problem and loose steering shaft fixed it. His steering wheel would rattle when hitting small potholes at low speeds but vibrate like in video if traveling highway speeds and hitting small bumps in the road.
Mine was never corrected. It was in the shop 4 times for it. It got worse when I towed anything, even a 1k trailer. Ford has agreed to buy my truck back based on being out of service for 30 days or more. I hope my next one will be better!!!
After fighting with the local dealer I finally gave up and bought new tires and had it aligned. 1300.00 for BF Goodrich & FEA. Problem solved. Can fingertip drive it now. Funny thing. The factory non adjustable caster setting is in the negative but the specs say it should be positive 3.5 or greater. Since they were done at different times the tires by far made the most difference. Came with the Wrangler Kevlar tires.
I had the same problem with the Wranglers. Balanced perfectly, vibrated horribly.
i switched over to a Yokohama Goelandar GO15 and have never been in a smoother truck!
I think we need to start also listing the tires on our trucks when describing wobble and vibration problems. It might shed a little more light on the root cause.
I have to agree with with you Mr King. Between the non adjustable negative set cams and the tires I feel Ford really let us down calling it "maintenance issues". The tires were 275/70R-18 Wrangler Kevlar but are now Goodrich KO-2. They are much more aggressive but handles 10 times better.
