Deploy King Ranch Running Boards

Deploying my 2018 KR running boards when the doors are closed would make it easier to wash them. Suggestions?

Non powered running boards?

Is there not a switch to where you can manually deploy them?

I don't easily find a physical switch to expose them. I also went through the choices in the dash display. I didn't see anything there.

I have an owners' manual and also went through the online manual at fordservicecontent.com but no joy. (Ford could improve the online manual by making it searchable.)

I deploy mine in parking spots that seem a little tight.
Keeps the ricers from dinging me.
They go back to auto deploy when you hit 5mph.

Ours are not powered. They are always in the door-ding-prevent mode!
