i just bought a new 2017 F150 with a 2.7 in it. I was going to put a Biull Bar on it with a LED light bar. I know these trucks need good airflow to prevent overheating. Will this setup block the airflow enough to cause problems?
This one is similar (and has the integrated light bar), they all seem to block a fair amount of air for the intercooler...I would be a little nervous about it. However, if you moved your license plate, it probably doesn’t block any more air than the factory plate holder... https://www.cjponyparts.com/lund-rev...18/p/86521206/
If you are only looking to mount lights, here are some more choices. I just installed an Nfab light bar w/tabs.
They are not bull bars, these are light bars.
I had to look up Google.. the prices vary, the cheapest one I found was around $370. Just be sure it's a Hammerhead.
If I were to get a light bar, it would have to be very sturdy. It also cannot obstruct the license plate. Even half an inch in the way will get me cited.

The one I got doesn’t block any of the license plate and it mounts directly to the factory bumper plate...it is very sturdy. I just don’t know if you are looking more for the bull bar ‘style’. I can upload a pic if you are interested.
Here are the installation instructions. It doesn’t list 2017, but it is the same. Also, the Nfab bar is made by Smittybilt....you can order either and get the exact identical product (both have the Nfab emblem).
Agreed. I was hesitant too, until I found out that plastic OEM bumper insert can be bought from my local dealer for $35. After learning that, I felt much better about cutting it. The Hammerhead looks good too. I just needed something to mount my lights that wasn’t too big. I really liked the idea of the Setina push bar (very different from these bull bars, it’s actually designed to push vehicles and is typically mounted to an emergency vehicle), but they are much larger than what I wanted on the front of my truck. You can even get the Setina made from aluminum...which I thought was pretty cool.
