Hi I'm brand new to the site. I'v got a 2000 ford f250 with 7.3 dieselwith a 6spd manual transmission with 119,000 miles. Ill first tell you I was a technician for GM so I know my way around wrenches. This is my first ford also my first diesel. I have been working on this truck for about a year. Only mods to this truck ever were done by me I've installed 4 inch straight pipe turbo back, EBPV delete. Work I've done and parts I've replaced are as follows 8 remand injectors 2 of wich were completely dead they weren't spitting any oil so I replaced all 8, I replaced the EBPS and cleaned tube. Sensor was shorted and setting a dtc with no check engine light. I replaced the high pressure oil lines while I had things apart. UVCH were replaced also. I did replace the cps sensor as well but i put in one from napa wich might be a no no from what ive read. Although the symptoms didn't change a bit after replacement. Truck has a low rpm miss with bluish white smoke when accelerating from idle to 1500 rpms it' most noticeable it is also under powered. Exhaust smells like raw diesel fuel before and after engine warms up. With a Genesis scan tool ect reading is -40 on a gasser this will cause major over fueling could this be causing me any issues? Also from what I can find on the Internet the 7.3 trucks with a 6spd transmission there may be 2 ect sensors any input would be greatly appreciated.
