Thanks M-Chan68

I am curious as to what is reason the 2016 only uses the FC3Z-6079-A and the 2011-2015, 2017 show they use the BC3Z-6079-A. And the difference. Scratching my head.

Reps sent as well. That's a very decent thing to do. Hopefully it can help the guy; not sure why Ford can't do this for him in the first place since clearly it can be done.

My thoughts exactly Tyler. They probably don’t want to pay the additional % for buying the parts separately as opposed to in the kit?

Not likely. More than likely the servicing dealer doesn't want to have a warranty claim bounce due to not following procedure. The part look up for the long block specifically states part number FC3Z-6079-A must be used. However, the servicing tech could document on the repair order that all of the above parts were used, and are identical to what's included in the kit so as to expedite repair completion due to lack of availability of the kit. If it's documented property, there shouldn't be any reason for the claim to bounce.

That makes sense too Mike. Do you think the parts would be significantly more individually than in kit form? I still wonder why the OP’s dealer or Ford never suggested this simple solution?

I also tried to rep you Mike, really over and above what you did there.

I'd wonder if it even matters to the dealer. I was always under the impression that Ford covered the cost of the parts as a writeoff, and then paid the dealer for the labor. Curious to know if that's how it actually works.

Wow. To wake up at 530 to see this!? FORD owners care. Thanks so much SIR. You've never met me and you've gone above and beyond. I can't wait to send this parts list to customer service and see what they say. THANK YOU SO MUCH. THANKS for you're
time.

From spending some time playing with the parts online catalogue at work, after working hours I was able to come up with a list of all the hardware, minus the fasteners. Here's what I come up with:

CM-5191 Injector Installation Kit (4 required)
CM-5192 Injector Installation Kit (4 required)
BC3Z-00812-B Injector Hold-Down Bolt (8 required)
FC3Z-9T514-A Turbo Mounting Gasket Kit
FC3Z-9448-A Exhaust Manifold Gasket (2 required)
BC3Z-00810-A Exhaust Manifold Hardware (12 required)
FC3Z-00810-A Exhaust Manifold Hardware (4 required)
-W701706-S430 Exhaust Manifold Nuts (16 required)
FC3Z-9P455-A EGR Cooler Mounting Gasket Kit
BC3Z-8C387-A Coolant Crossover Gasket
BC3Z-8C387-B Coolant Crossover Gasket
RT-1231 Thermostat
BC3Z-9439-A Intake Gasket
BC3Z-9439-B Intake Gasket
BC3Z-9439-C Intake Gasket (2 required)
BC3Z-2A572-A Vacuum Pump Gasket
BC3Z-9E964-A High Pressure Fuel Lines
BC3Z-9E936-B Throttle Body Gasket
FD-4615 Fuel Filters

I am certain I have covered every part illustrated above, with those part numbers MINUS SOME NUTS AND BOLTS. I will get to looking those up tomorrow if I have time. The part numbers above are the most current level part numbers, and are available for order through Bramalea and Edmonton PDCs (not sure where BC dealers source their daily orders from).

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a parts guy. I am only a licensed Ford Dealership Technician, therefore it is NOT my job to look up parts and check for their availability so I take no legal responsibility for the accuracy of the information I've provided above. I only know how to do this, is because I often find myself in a situation where I will look up my own parts for a job I'm assigned to in order to expedite getting me through the job instead of having to wait for the parts guy who's either tied up with a customer at the front counter or tied up on the phone answering a dumb question. I am doing this solely for the purposes of helping the OP out of his dilemma of being down his vehicle. Having worked for many dealers in my life time I can tell you that having to look up parts with this many in a "grocery list" generally gives most parts guys a headache, therefore a request like this is usually pushed off to a time when things aren't so busy at the dealer.

In the future, I think we can do without the disclaimer. I'm not aware of any active members here who are currently employed as a parts guy at FMCO, so that puts you in the same boat as the rest of us in that department, but way ahead of many of us in many other departments.

Thanks for your time and input on this.

I don’t have a lot to add and I don’t want to turn this into a Ford bashing thread but I just resentlly get the shaft from Ford on my wife’s escape.Long story short it was 100% Ford’s fault and they left me high and dry.Had to pay hundreds out of pocket for something that should have been FREE.My neighbor bought a 2016 Duramax and the CP4 let go at 30k miles....No problem got it covered....It let go again at 45K and GM said we’re so sorry for your troubles and they bought it back and got him in a 17 Duramax and he hasn’t had any trouble out of it at all.He is also a business owner as well.

Sorry for more depressing story’s but I am sorry for your troubles.I never want to see this happen to anybody and Fords lack of backing nowadays has steered me towards gas trucks cause IF and when you have diesel problems you tend to need them to stand behind you.And I’m not surprised about m-chan’s post....He is a very valuable member here and always seems to go out of his way to help others....Along with most members on this fourm.

Take care and wish you the best!

So customer service says they tried building the parts up separately as you did to no availability?

I'm gonna call myself and see tommorow .

This is the first 6.7 blowup I have herd of. Lar-Man is having problems getting parts from Ford. Not that they aren,t going to pay for them. Its just taking a long time and they took his rental away. (bad move)
My 6.7 is not having any problems. I have 60,000 miles on mine and towed a 13,000 5th wheel 26,000 miles so far. Not one single problem. You can't fault Ford for not warrantying a injector with 110.000 miles on it. No manufacturer will pay for that. Sorry to hear about that though.
Ford had serious problems with the 6.0. The 6.7 is built in house at ford and is way different than something from 05. It's a much better truck all around.
