steering gear box ?

can anyone help? 74 f100 stock steering gear box, gm type 2 power steering pump. i have searched everywhere to no avail, can someone tell me the fitting sizes in the gear box, and which one is the pressure line?
also how much pressure is this gear box designed for, I did find somewhere that it should be around 700psi.
thank you in advance.

Not sure of all the answers, but at least we'll get you back to the top of page 1 for hopefully some fresh views.

In general, the pressure side port it always (not sure of any exceptions) the one farther away from the input shaft seal.
Does not matter if the ports are in-line with each other, or the more common angled orientation. Or whether they're facing the top, the side or the bottom of the box. The closer it is to the front of the vehicle and the farther away from the steering column, the more you can count on it being the pressure side.

The GM "Canned Ham" Saginaw/Delphi pumps (not sure about the Type 2 name) should have a 5/8 x 18 inverted flare fitting. This is the adapter we use for some of them: https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/category/s?keyword=2463
We even have a hose to fit it to a Ford box (on this page: https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/catego...Steering_Pumps #2111 fitting) but I don't know if that's going to be the same as yours. It's specifically for the '73-'77 Bronco box if I'm not mistaken.

I'm always torn when making steering hoses. While I really appreciate a custom made "factory looking" hose, I really like making my own and routing them however I like, using re-usable stuff like the #2053 and #2081 kits shown on this page: https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/catego...csteeringparts

Sorry for the shameless plug. You can get fittings and hoses like that at just about any hydraulic shop I would think. As well as having factory look-alike hoses and ends made to your specifications.
I do like the idea of being able to fix my own out in the boonies though. So the re-usable ones with some extra hose in the parts box gives one a warm and fuzzy feeling when off-roading.

Good luck. I'm sure someone will have the fitting size for the box.
