C6 swap speedometer cable issue

Swapping a c6 from a 68-72 into my 74. Discovered the speedometer cables were different between the 2, do they make a speedometer cable for that swap? What are my options?

It might just be the speedometer gear that's different. Did you go from a manual trans to the C6?

Yes sir, manual to c6 swap it appears the connections are different.

16-21T nylon speedometer DRIVEN gears are the same 1960/1990's.

Thru 1972: Cable threads onto speedometer / 1973/79: Cable retained to speedometer w/a clip.

1966/72 C6: Speedometer nylon or steel DRIVE located on output shaft // 1973 and later C6: DRIVE gear made as part of the output shaft.

I would assume you could use a 1973/79 cable.

I used one of these when I put a 70s divorced T-case into my 59. You have to get the right gear and a clip. Remember, the gears for left or right side speedometer cables are different.
