Delete guys only....coolant temp issue

Hey guys I have a 17 F250 6.7 fully deleted and noticed that my coolant temp hovers around 195 and than at some point slowly climes to about 206 than it will come down again to 195. I sent my recorded data to PPEI and they said everything looks fine. Before the delete my coolant never went above 195. I made sure it was purged and topped off. I am running the No Limits Fab pass through plate for the EGR delete. Maybe this is normal?? Just wanting to find out.

AJ

Yeah seems normal, my deleted 15 will creep over 200 then drop down to 182ish as the thermostat opens. Usually floats around between the two temps. It has crept higher if I layed into it hard when it was already on the upper end.

Just curious. When did you buy your 17? In the winter, it's not uncommon for the truck to run a tad cooler than it will now that things are warming up.

Could it just be the outside temp change that you're seeing reflected in your ECT?

I did buy it in the winter but I deleted only about 2 months ago and before I deleted she never went above 195. If its 30 out ill see 206 sometimes. I'm just worried if I'm towing something and also wheb the weather does get alot warmer.

Some will have to do also with what tune you're running, and weather the tuning is set up for towing, but your temps don't really seem scary to me.

Factory thermostat open settings are 194 / 201, so less than a handful of degrees above upper limit of the thermostat open isn't that big a deal. Mine gets that warm without the delete, and without towing. (different climate though, so check to make sure the tuning is safe for towing)

I've been deleted for about a year. On the way up to operating temp, the temperature will run up to 201. The T-stat opens up, and immediately drops temps down to 194. Was that way when I was stock. You are fine.
