Brake caliper locking up on 2007 Lincoln Navigator

Front passenger side brake caliper locking up even though I replaced it about 3 weeks ago. I've checked the brake lines for kinks between the caliper and the master cylinder and have not discovered any. This is the only caliper that's locking up. All others are working as the should.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so what did you do the repair it? Please advise. Thanks.

Jack the wheel up and remove it, then apply the brakes to lock up the caliper. Now open the bleeder screw on the caliper to see if the pressure is released. If doing so releases the pressure and frees the caliper then the problem is the brake hose deteriorating on the inside.

I had the same issue on a 2007 Lincoln Navigator except it was on the driver side. Ended up having to replace the brake line. found it at a Ford dealership out of state and it was the last one. The lines seems to be in short supply.

Brake Caliper

Thanks for the response. I replaced the brake hose only two days ago. Currently it seems to be working as it should. However, I will need to drive it more to be sure. But not until I bleed the lines once more. For some reason their still seems to be air in the system. By the way what did you discover the fault was on your brake line replacement? Again thanks.

Glad u figured it out. I just assumed there was a blockage in the line, because it looked fine.
