Factory ride height and tire size

just purchased a 66 f100 swb. Was wondering if anyone knew stock measurement from center of spindle to top of wheelwell and height of stock tire. I think someone may have cut coils at sometime, was going to purchase dream beams and thinking may have to buy springs also if they have been cut.

If nobody can get the measurement you asked for, the 1966 Body Builders’ Layout Book gives these charts and measurements. Stu

Norbit,
The rear is definitely too low compared to stock height; someone has modified. The front looks a little low, but not as bad. New front coils and rear leaf springs are available for stock height and for +/- a few inches. Shabby modifications like cutting coils or heating to cause drop are dangerous.

You can get new front coils (Moog brand) from Amazon. I think my pair cost $72 or so?

Rear leaf springs are more spendy, about $400 a pair, by the time you pay shipping.
