I just want to make sure that the 40/20/40 seats from an extender cab will fit in a standard cab IF I HAVE THE BASE PLATE
the seats themselves are the same...right???

You should be able to just swap baseplates. I have however mounted some EX CAB ones in a single cab just by drilling new holes and massive fender washers. What's cool about doing that is the seats fold all the way forward onto the steering wheel for major access to subwoofers/tools etc, Where the reg cab ones don't.

You need MORE than just the seat pan(base plate)
You ALSO need the regular cab/crewcab tracks and you really want the center seat lower frame
found the STD CAB seats, which are ratty but with the correct frame I should be good to swap better seat cushions & up holesrty right..??? also has anyone found a LUMBAR replacement bag yet?

Yes, you can swap the supercab fabric onto the regular cab seats.
Lubbar bag is pretty straight forward to swap over. Also while you have the seats part, plan on re-welding the lumbar bag support.
Do yourself a favor and also get some house carpet padding and some new springs for the bottom(match those up at lowes)
The carpet padding goes under the foam on the bottom of the seat, the springs you can add some extra to stiffen the seat back up
