have a 1991 f-350,460efi, with the aod40e tranny,when towing
in lower speeds,when i push the pedal just a little to gain speed
it seems to start shuttering ,viberateing,,this is when it is at its worst,,,i can feel it kick down and then it goes away,when it dont do it ,it tows fine ,,no loss of power,,shifts fine,,fluid changed and there was nothing in the pan,?fluid out of the converter was ok
does this have a lock up converter,,also,,what are the signs of a bad one?,,any ideas?????
