My salesman forwarded me a copy of my order acknowledgment, and it looks like the system accepted it Friday afternoon. In any case, it looks like the 2019 is about $325 more than my 2018 order was and the inflatable rear seatbelts are STILL on material hold!
NICE!!! Now if I could just get someone to submit my order...

I called 5 different dealers today all of which said their systems are not taking 2019 orders yet. Wtf. Anyone else experiencing this?

That's what happened to me today. I was driving to the dealership when my salesman called and stated he was unable to take orders until AUGUST!! Needless to say I was a bit disappointed. I'm still not sure if this is true or not...
My dealer took my 2019 order and it went right through. I promptly cancelled it after I read the 2020 MY order bank opens up in November 5th with the availability of a 6.2L EcoBoost.

Can you post a link to that info? You have my attention!

No link. Somehow, the snickering faced emocon didn't post. If it were true, the internet would be ablaze, and you'd have to get in line behind me. I'd save you a spot to cut in line though.

MY2020 will more than likely have 10 speed trans and 7.X L gas motor. maybe mild exterior update. definately more changes than 18 to 19 (B&O stereo and lariat sport)
So how are they taking orders for the lariat sport and not releasing any pictures of what it even looks like? I'd think there would be something out there about this.

Can orders for it be placed now or soon? Order guide states Late Availability for the Lariat Sport. Sounds like they don't even have parts in line yet. Agree, some concept pictures would be nice.
the ordering guide and banks just came out...prices, horsepower, among other things dont get released till later. this is the time when most dealers place orders for new inventory
Just got this from my dealer. With the B&O and ford pass modem being available I'm cancelling my 2018 order and going with a 2019. Here's hoping no more availability issues with the inflatable rear seatbelts!
Thanks. That was interesting info. I just ordered a 2018 and will stick with it but it was interesting to see what's coming.
I've talked to or emailed 4 dealerships today and none of them can order 2019's. One of the dealerships told me that Ford will take 2018 orders through the end of this month (Truck Month). The salesman believes the 2019's will be available for order early next month. We will see... If I hear anything I'll post here to let ya'll know.
On a side note, I was told that incentives can be locked in at the time of order. I wish I could order during Truck Month! Oh well...
i think your wrong on incentives...its whatever available at delivery...could lock in i guess if you pay when ordering...more than likely the incentive will still be available and better
i dont even think there are 2019 incentives out yet
